The notes section of PowerPoint is often used in classrooms:
For students to enter what they intend to say during that slide of the presentation
For teachers to enter suggestions or notes for other teachers (when sharing the presentation with others).
The "Notes" tool is below the slide in the regular editing view
The Notes never display on the projected screen. They are usually printed to view. Notes are always printed one slide per page (or more if there are a lot of notes).
Printing the "Notes" is an option selected during the print process.
Notes can also appear if a laptop is used and the "Presenter View" tool is selected. The notes, as well as upcoming slides, will be visible on the laptop screen while the projector displays the slide image only.
